The place Oliver took me to was a crowded nightclub playing loud electronic music I couldn’t understand.

“You’re into this?” I asked in surprise. I had to shout at him because he couldn’t hear me, even though he was just inches in front of me.

Oliver looked over his shoulder at me, pushing through the crowd so he could lead me to the dance floor.

“It’s not my kinda music, no, but I come to this place any time I need to think. If I want to be alone with my thoughts. I feel untouchable here,” he said with a smile. Then he reached for my hand, weaving his fingers with mine before I pulled away.

I didn’t want to pull away.

Oliver led me straight to center stage. He was right about this place. Everyone seemed to be in their own world. Nobody even noticed us or cared what we did. People were falling all over each other, dancing in neon bright lights and throwing their bodies around. At first, I thought I’d feel claustrophobic, but I hadn’t. Like Oliver promised, I actually felt free.

Oliver pulled me to himself, wrapping an arm around my waist as we started swaying. I swung my hair from side to side, smiling up at him as I allowed the music to absorb me. His hands were on my hips and I leaned in closer.

“I feel like I can hear my heart beating, even over this music!” I shouted, practically straight into his ear. He nodded, moving with me to the chaotic music. I wasn’t surprised to find he had some good moves. Oliver, with his lithe athletic frame and his golden curls looked exactly like the kind of guy who’d know how to burn up the dance floor. Even the fancy suit he was wearing didn’t hinder him.

I rested my arms on his wide strong shoulders. My breasts pressed into his chest as he moved his fingers down my arms, around my shoulders to the back of my neck. When his fingertips playfully flitted over my nape, he sent shivers of desire down my spine.

I realized I was staring at his lips. The way he stuck his tongue out to lick his bottom lip was sexy as hell.
